Wolseley is nestled in the picturesque Breede River Valley, 14km from Tulbagh and 15 km from Ceres. The town is situated on a natural watershed and is surrounded by the majestic Waaihoek, Witzen and Waterval mountains which are covered with snow in winter.
Wolseley is rich in vineyards, orchards, cattle farms and wheat fields. There is much farm accommodation available, as well as hiking trails, river rowing, bird watching, fishing and mountain bike routes with the annual Wolseley MTB Challenge happening in August.
