Stellenbosch is renowned for its beautiful environment, many places of interest, wine farms, street cafes, restaurants, quality wines, historical buildings and excellent educational institutions. Stellenbosch is mostly a wine producing region consisting of the towns of Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and settlements such as Klapmuts, Koelenhof, Kylemore, Johannesdal, Pniel, Jamestown and Raithby. Stellenbosch town is 50 km to the east of Cape Town and after Cape Town it is the oldest town in South Africa.Stellenbosch has a small-town aura with a leisurely lifestyle in an atmosphere where art, music and theater reign supreme. And yet only half-an-hour's drive from the Mother City of Cape Town and all the many attractions.
