The valley forms part of the Breede River Valley with Worcester as the closest, large town. At the Opstal Restaurant, our finely prepared food is part of the Opstal experience. We offer tourists and locals alike a place to enjoy top notch cuisine and superb wines. Guests can enjoy either the magnificent mountain views outside when its warm or a blazing fire inside during the cold winter months.While our menu is seasonal, the welcome and personal attention visitors enjoy remain unchanging. Conference groups of up to 100 people can be accommodated. The Estate is conveniently located near self-catering cottages giving companies the opportunity to book overnight stays for conference groups. Wedding ceremonies can also be held in the Estate’s beautiful gardens. Our venue, complete with dance floor, is suitable for 120 guests. Opstal Estate and its people are well known for their hospitality and friendliness.
