GPS Location - R62 turnoff: Come and experience life on a working fruit farm. We are situated 1km outside Montagu – on the famous Route 62. Montagu is a charming historic village nestled between two mountain ranges, halfway between Cape Town and the Garden Route. This picturesque town lies in the heart of the legendary Route 62- the world’s longest wine route. Our five fully equipped self catering cottages are surrounded by orchards, and have spectacular views of the town and mountains. We cater for groups as well as individuals and families. Blue skies, beautiful mountains, a superb climate and plenty to do, it is the ideal breakaway from city living! We invite you to come and stay in one of our self-catering cottages...enjoy the stunning views of the majestic mountains and village from your “stoep” (private patio)...experience the tranquillity of a farm atmosphere. Three of our cottages are situated next to each other, while the other 2 are a bit more private. Each of the five fully equipped cottages has two bedrooms, one bathroom and can accommodate up to 6 people. The cottages have open-plan living rooms, tv (standard SABC channels), and fully equipped kitchens with a mini stove. The cottages have their own lapa’s (outside BBQ area / woodburning), undercover parking and security systems. We provide linen and towels. We cater for groups as well as individual needs. One of our cottages is also wheelchair friendly. We regret that we cannot accommodate your pets. Guide dogs only are permitted. The peaceful town of Montagu is steeped in history and famous for it's awe-inspiring rock formations, orchards, vineyards, local herbs and healing hot mineral springs. Visitors will discover our wildflower nature garden, bird sanctuaries, nature reserves, museums, art galleries, historic homes, lovely hiking trails, 4 x 4 and mountain bike trails and ideal rock climbing opportunities.
