Our restoration is of a high standard and has added value and beauty to an outstanding variety of antique furniture since 1989. We have, and are working for many fine Antique Dealers and Interior Decorators, as well as many discerning private collectors. We continue to strive for Excellence, Authenticity and Value in our restoration of each individual piece. Although our main focus is French Polishing as a finish, with Veneer and Marquetry as a large proportion of our repairs, there are many interesting and varied projects that have passed through our workshop. These have included repairs to old painted finishes as well as Antiqueing New Furniture and Architectural Fittings. This creates a softer, “worn” look that fits in with the surroundings. Most of the latter is done On Site. Our Mobile On Site Workshop has proved very successful with certain pieces of furniture that are too Large to move, or when there is a Collection of pieces that need minor Cosmetic Repair! Due to frequent travelling between Cape Town and Plettenberg Bay, we are able to offer workshop based restoration as well as On Site restoration to the GARDEN ROUTE.
